Students may change between Master of Arts (Theological Studies), Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, Master of Divinity, Special Student/M.Div., and Certificate of Graduation programs without re-applying to the seminary. The form Application to Change Programs (available in the seminary office) is used to initiate this process. The seminary will communicate approval or denial in writing. Upon changing programs, students calculate time left for completing the new degree program by subtracting the time spent at the M.A.(T.S.)/M.A.C.M./M.Div./Certificate level from the maximum number of years allowed for the new program (see the degree program duration limitations for each program, under "Programs of Study"). A Certificate of Graduation student who completes a baccalaureate degree and desires to change to the Master of Divinity program must complete the Application to Change Programs form and have all official transcript(s) sent to the seminary; the student's initial application will then be reconsidered with the transcript(s) as an application to the Master of Divinity program. A student who wishes to change between programs of different levels (i.e., Master of Theology to Doctor of Ministry or Master of Divinity to Master of Theology) should complete an application, selecting the new degree program on the application.
