FellowshipStudy at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary includes opportunities for fellowship and establishment of life-long friendships. Each spring and fall, the Seminary and student body host a special activity for students and their spouses to attend. Additional opportunities include prayer times, coffee breaks, and practical work, all of which contribute to what many pastors and missionaries consider to have been the most wonderful years of their lives. Student Wives' Fellowship and Tuition GrantStudent Wives' FellowshipTo provide fellowship and encouragement to wives of seminary students, monthly meetings are organized and special speakers are invited to address relevant topics for wives in ministry. Tuition Grant for Spouses
To assist student wives in further developing their skills and talents for ministry and to encourage their participation in the preparation process, the Seminary offers spouses of students taking four or more credits per semester the opportunity to take for credit two tuition-free seminary courses (or four credits) per term with a maximum of four courses (or eight credits) per academic year. This tuition grant requires that wives be fully matriculated students and does not cover fees. Wives may elect to attend additional courses under Visitor status. Student CouncilThe student council serves the student body and seminary by promoting Christian fellowship and growth and advancing the goals and general well-being of the Seminary and student body. The student council plans the fall and spring fellowships, coordinates expressions of concern on behalf of the student body for those in difficult and trying situations, and works together to provide suggestions to the administration regarding the seminary and its student body. The offices consist of President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer. Officers serve one-year terms. |
